LAZY SUSAN

In 2020, a longtime client from my early design projects—Earl Ninsom—invited me to develop the branding and website for a new concept in Portland’s Montavilla neighborhood. Lazy Susan—inspired by English charcoal-grilled pub food—took on the spirit of the many 70s era dive bars and liquor stores near the adjacent 82nd Avenue. With Osmose leading the charge on the late mid-century interiors, I developed branding to honor the history of the neighborhood in the form of a 10 foot vertical sign in classic liquor store-yellow. A website soon followed.
